Jeff Hardy Contract Update
As reported on the site Jeff Hardy’s contract expires in the Summer. A lot of sites have jumped on this and said he isn’t resigning, but Hardy himself made the following Facebook comment leaving his status up in the air:
“Jeffrey Itchweed Nero Hardy says that the new contract signing are RUMORS, which means it may not be true, I might sign a new contract soon but the contract doesn’t expire till July, so I’ll play it day-by-day.”
As we know, Hardy is a free spirit and when he want to go he’ll go, but one has to wonder after all the problems he put the company through with “Wellness”, to walk out after finally being trusted with the world title probably puts his future after that in jeopardy.

I doubt Hardy’s future is in Jeopardy. He has been claiming to be burnt out with the grind of the industry. He may take six months off – maybe a year and he’ll be back. With the amount of merchandise he moves Vince will keep him in his good books ’till kingdom come, just look at RVD.
That’s true, but as far as a top star I wouldn’t be so sure. You can’t just walk out on Vince after he reluctantly gave you the title.

But if you look at it; can you really call it trusting him with the title? He was allowed to have it for what? A month-month and a half? And with the stipulations of a Wellness Test before he won it and then during his reign whenever they so chose (despite the fact that it was planned the entire time to have him lose the title after such a short reign) it’s not really trust.
I understand their reluctance considering he’s already failed two but honestly, if Hardy decides to leave I won’t fault him for it.

All i know is that Jeff Hardy coming back has made me a wrestling fan again. and ive been watching since the attitude era when WWE was WWF. yes knowing wat Jeff has done to the company in the past I understand that it took him that long to win the title. But Jeff Attracts alot of WWE fans. New and Old. If he leaves I wouldnt blame him. I just wouldnt really be a fan that much though. If he decided to stay though that would be fine to cause im pretty sure that with Jeff beingnow one of WWE’top contenders and main eventers, he is champion bound. Plus with his fan support he would be a great champ. thas jus my opinion though.
That was a fake Facebook account. The only account he has is his Band on MySpace. He also has Itchweeed on Myspace. As he has said it’s Itchweeed with 3 e’s. Matt links to anything that’s the real deal on his myspace.
Umm sorry guys but Jeff Hardy has said many times that he does not have a facebook account as well as on his band’s myspace he is holding a sign stating all Jeff Hardy Facebook and myspaces are fakes. sorry guy but this site is bogas.

well i dont want him to go, i heard he was thinking of getting a lighter schedule contract like the undertaker has that would mean he had more time to rest and do everything else he wants to do. Its nearly July now so why cant we know what the situation is? why is everything to do with contracts so secretive with the WWE?
And also if he is thinking of leaving in july why is he still getting a push and fighting cm punk for a worl championship on 28th june? doesnt make sense unless they think he will be re-signing.

It’s not just a wrestling thing. Contracts are really supposed to be a confidential matter, but friends etc of the wrestler leak out info.
come on guys, i am a huge jeff hardy fan but he does deserve some time off to paint, sing and spend some well earned time with beth.

All i’m saying is that Jeff Hardy better re-sign with the WWE. Without him there’s no WWE. He brings a lot of viewer’s to this business. He is a good wrestler and is becoming a bigger superstar week after week. It seems like everytime he wins a world title, the WWE always find a reason for him not to be champion long. But, if he does leave they better bring back RVD. He wil be a wonderful world champion and will destroy CM Punk if he comes at him the wrong way.
Matt Hardy does have a legit MySpace account. Jeff does not do MySpace or Facebook. They both do Twitter on a regular basis. The only MySpace that Jeff is offiliated with is Itchweeed. And his girlfriend runs it. Check the spelling also. Three e’s.
Yes, he does bring in a lot of fans, but look at what he has put his body through! Can’t blame him if he needs a break. I don’t think he will be gone long, but you never know. We need to respect his choices and support whatever path he chooses to follow. He may be leaving to concentrate on his band Peroxwhy?gen
