Jarrett Not High On Sting, Who Is Gail Kim’s Sister? Amazing Red Return?
- Steve Borden, aka Sting recently no showed the TNA Impact TV tapings as I reported a few days ago. There are still no specifics on what exactly is wrong with his contract, but he wants it restructured in some way. It doesn’t actually expire until the end of the year, but he is refusing to work until some things are cleared up.
He recently almost fell out with Vince Russo after reluctantly turning heel, which hasn’t gone over well with the smart fans and is being ridiculed by insiders. This may also have caused a trust issue with Sting and TNA’s creative team.
If it is more money Sting is after, that could prove to be a problem because Jeff Jarret, more or less the head decision maker in the company almost passed on re-signing Sting last year due to his high asking price. It took TNA president Dixie Carter (who doesn’t usually override Jarret to make the deal go ahead).
Sting’s future past the end of this year with looks doubtful in TNA.
- The person playing Gail Kim’s sister on recent episodes of Impact is TNA referee Earl Hebner’s daughter and no real relation of Gail.
- Former TNA X-Division standout during the company’s early years, the Amazing Red is being advertised for his return to the ring at Pro Wrestling Syndicate event in Hempstead, Long Island on August 30th. TNA hasn’t shown any interest in him yet, but he remains close to Bill Behrens, who used to work for the TNA offices until few months back.
