Impact Rating, Ted DiBiase Interview, Taz On Paul Heyman
- This past Thursday’s episode of TNA Impact on Spike TV drew a 1.1 cable rating.
- ThisisNottingham.co.uk recently interviewed Ted DiBiase. Here are some quotes.
“Shawn Michaels and Triple H are legends in this business and I think everyone would like to be as successful as they are,”

Question – “I watched TNA on television tonight, and I can’t take it anymore. All the buildup for BFG, and they just dump it in yesterday’s trash? Please, someone fire Vince Russo and just force Paul Heyman to take over this company that is headed right down the drain!”
Taz’s Answer – “Cody, I disagree also. It was a strong wrestling show….and how do u know if Paul would WANT to even be back in the wrestling biz??? How do u know if Paul was happy doing with he’s doing?? How do u know if Russo and Paul aren’t friends and talk “shop” at times??? How do u know if TNA WANTS Paul?? How do u know if Paul WANTS TNA?? How do u know if Paul wasnt offered to work for TNA already??? U dont Sir. My point is NONE of U know the truth…I do! many of the pro wrestling fan base (sorry if Im stereotyping) think they KNOW…they DONT! Its funny.”

since taz replaced don west their ratings have slipped… didn’t i call it! i want west back, taz sucks as an announcer. tenay sucks too. actually west and foley would be a funny duo now that i think about it.
TeNAy is the voice of TNA. He knows what to say and when. Keep in mind, the less we recognise the commentators during kinetic wrestling, the better job they’re doing.
I say we petition for a meeting between JBL and TNA.

Taz would like to tell you fools about the bounced checks but he’s too busy being a bad anouncer. It’s all horseshit! Of course Russo sucks but who elce is there? Cornette is insane!
there is no cemeistry between taz and tenay and i noticed on the last impact there were several errors by taz in his commentating including nearly calling tna another company during the ultimate x match.
your best bet to run tna would be bill watts,bill edy or kevin von erich
TNA is poorly run, plain and simple. The people who own it are not from the wrestling world so they listen to anybody who has worked for WWE or WCW. They are getting bad advice and the older talent are there just collecting checks. Angle still does a good job, but when will he be back once again in the main event picture. Push the younger home grown talent and use the older guys to get them over. Foley and Nash are doing jobs which is nice to see. I’m not a big AJ fan but him as champion makes sense. Set Sting, Steiner and any older talent that wont help push the younger talent out to pasture. Sorry to see Booker go but he is the wrong guy for this company. Russo still thinks this is the 90’s and his ideas are working he has always been delusional. Vince made him and i can’t figure out why no one has seenn that yet after all of his failed attempts to beat Vince. Just some thoughts on the topic sorry to have dragged on.
First on the announcer thing. I did’nt like west as an announcer. He is to over the top to talk that long. I think he is great as a manager but dont think amazing red is guy for him. He is more of a bobby the brain type. He should be managing heels and not face’s. This company has it’s up and downs but I enjoy watching it. In my opinion the x division is what makes this company stand out. I like the fact there pushing the younger talent but they need to be more careful not to do it to fast. It seems like after bound for glory everything happened over night. They still need the big names to keep peoples attention. Another thing I like about this company is all the belts have more face. In the WWE It’s all about the world titles and the others are just kinda there. The WWE have pushed the united states and interc championship’s a bit more now but still need more variety. The wwe tag team division is a joke!!! While the WWE has more names and more money and better writters. I think down the road TNA will give them a run for there money. I like Tna more every day. Although latley the story lines have been a bit thin Im sure things will take form.
For all of you who gripe about WWE and TNA, I have a simple solution-DON’T WATCH IT!!! I’ve been a wrestling fan for 30 years, and yet I’ve never watched a complete TNA show, and I haven’t bothered with the WWWE for six months. You know what? I’m happier. If enough people walk away from these promotions and instead support your local independents, the major leagues will either get their act together or go out of business. If you gripe about what Pharaoh (McMahon) and the Idiot(Russo) put on TV, but keep watching anyway, then you DO NOT get to complain. Also, all of you, please learn about spelling and punctuation. I was an English major. Reading your gibberish makes my head hurt.
Keelan, don’t know if you’ve heard, but there’s word that Hulk Hogan signed with TNA. What are your thoughts, if this is true, on the situation???
I don’t know what you dumb asses are on but Bound for Glory was awesome and taz is a good annoucer because if he wasn’t he would be replaced so to all you taz hatters go fuck yourselves
I agree with you AJ. Tna is on the move and I cant wait to see what they are gonna do!!! I heard that jeff hardy is going to TNA again. Does anybody know if this is true?
Hogan said he wants him but I don’t see it happen.
