Impact Rating News, TNA and MLB Join For Charity, Jeff Jarrett DVD

- Thursday’s TNA Impact on Spike TV drew a 1.1 cable rating, which is within their usual fluctuations. They had an average of average audience of 1.5 million viewers. The show’s opening quarter hour was the highest segment.

This past Tuesday, The Beautiful People (Velvet Sky & Angelina Love) were invited by New York Yankees outfielder Johnny Damon to attend a charity event at the popular “Blue Martini” lounge in Orlando, Florida. The MLB star is the national spokesman for the Wounded Warrior Project, which provides programs and services to ease the burdens of severely injured service men and women and their families. Damon is a longtime TNA Wrestling fan and even got involved in the “BaseBrawl” match at the 2005 TNA “Turning Point” Pay-Per-View event. - TNA have a DVD set on Jeff Jarrett planned for a April 2009 release. Some of the early TNA footage with Jarrett was some of his best so it’ll be interesting to see if they go back to the early days, which they’ve often missed out on other DVDs.
