Hulk’s Birthday, Raw Roulette, Billy Kidman News, Batista’s Next Movie

- Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan turned 56 years old today, but he celebration seems out of the window while he recovers from spinal surgery.

- To appease Mike Adamle in his guest hosting position, he will have a relatively straight forward role as the episode will be “Raw Roulette” – where matches are selected by spinning a big wheel.

- Wrestling star turned FCW trainer Billy Kidman is moving up in his backstage role in WWE, possibly taking Hall of Famer Gerald Brisco’s spot at the “Gorilla Position”, since his health has deteriorated.

- Thanks to Joe:
The IMDB page for Tekken was updated with Batista in the role of King. King is the name of two different characters in the Tekken fighting game series. The character was inspired by both legendary Japanese pro wrestler Tiger Mask, as well as Mexican wrestler Fray Tormenta, who just happened to be a Catholic priest who became a masked wrestler in order to support an orphanage. Both Characters wear a realistic Jaguar Mask into the ring.

  1. uhhg batista playing the role of a high flying luchador makes me tear andy= true tekken fan

  2. I hope I’m not sounding stupid but what is the “Gorilla position” does it have to do with Monsoon? Is this a creative role, or just an office position or is he still a trainer?

  3. Its the position just before you go out to the ring, behind the entrance. He’ll be on the headphones, talking to talent before they go out etc. And yeah it is named after Monsoon.

  4. Wow that seems like a respected job. Good for him (if he gets it). Would this be on all shows or just Raw?
Sorry about all the questions. I just like to know these things. It’s something you don’t always get info on from reading WWE magazines which I find to be patronizing.
Thanks for the info by the way.

  5. I’m guessing just Raw, although I could be wrong.
