- As well as taking a few more weeks off to fully heel from his biceps injury as I reported a few days ago, several sources have noted that he’s unhappy with his current contract and in renegotiations with WWE management. Mysterio thinks he deserves more money on par with the current top wrestlers in the company, but WWE are reluctant to give it to him because he’s had so much time off and is maybe prone to more injuries in the future. WWE sees him as a risky investment at this time and would rather negotiate at a later date when Mysterio has a solid run on Raw and proves his worth. Perhaps other than CM Punk Rey Mysterio was the lowest paid main event title holder when he had the belt.

- Although nothing is concrete, sources close to the situation say that Hardcore Holly is serving some kind of unofficial suspension stemming from a backstage incident with another worker’s property. It might have possibly been a rib gone wrong or something more sinister. There are also murmurs of several other issues that can’t be confirmed at this time. Holly hasn’t been used on TV or on the house show schedule since he dropped his half of the tag team title, but hasn’t been officially announced as being suspended or as breaking the Wellness Policy.
