Goldberg News, Refs Getting Released, Ex-WWE Creative Joins NWA
- This Saturday’s episode of Hulk Hogan’s Celebrity Championship Wrestling features former WCW and WWE star Bill Goldberg as a guest trainer, similar to RVD last week.
- According to PWInsider.com in a new cost cutting measure WWE may be releasing some referees in the near future. There is also a new policy in place where instead of being assigned to specific brands WWE will have one group of refs on the road one week, then another group the next, alternating respectively, with senior officials getting more work.
- Former WWE creative tam member Dave Lagana is part of the new NWA Championship Wrestling from Hollywood studio TV tapings. The promotion features Mike DiBiase, the brother of WWE’s DiBiase JR and son of the original Ted. Big Vision is still working to get the series better distribution in the US and internationally.
