An arrest warrant was issued for the daughter and granddaughter of two famous Minnesota wrestlers for inappropriate conduct with a student.

Parents send their children to Cretin Derham Hall because of its strong catholic values. But investigators say a former coach and teacher wasn’t living up the ideals she was supposed to be instilling in her students.

Investigators say Gail Gagne, who was hired as an assistant basketball coach and substitute teacher two years ago, had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old male student.

Investigators say the relationship began in the summer of last year, while Gagne worked as a weight room supervisor and that the two had sex on more than one occasion.

When the allegations surfaced last spring, school administrators put Gagne on leave and sent a letter to parents explaining only that a female employee was accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student.

Gagne is the granddaughter of wrestling legend Verne Gagne, who was involved in the death of a fellow resident at the Friendship Village Nursing Home in Bloomington back in January. She is also the daughter of Greg Gagne, Verne’s son and a well-known professional wrestler in his own right.

Investigators issued a warrant for Gail’s arrest at her parent’s house in Bloomington, but her father says she no longer lives there and is working out of state.

- The official attendance figures for Wrestlemania 25 was 61,611 not the exaggerated 72,744 given by WWE shortly after the event.

For a product that legitimately does draw huge numbers it only tarnishes their credibility when they fiddle the statistics. Of course nothing beats the hammed up 93,173 attendance figure for Wrestlemania 3.

- Rey Mysterio is putting off his knee surgery until after Wrestlemania. The Royal Rumble and Mania are big paydays so that probably has something to do with it.

- For those that think Hulk Hogan is 100% behind the growth of TNA think again. According to the Wrestling Observer Hulk isn’t sure whether he’s ever actually going to appear in the Impact Zone because it look too minor league. We may only see him on PPV.

One idea discussed was to hold TNA outdoors to get a bigger walk up attendance.
