Flair’s Son Reid Arrested With Heroin In Car

Reid Flair, the son of Legendary WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was arrested again this past Sunday in his hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina for driving while impaired and driving with a revoked license. Charlotte-Mecklenburg police also say they found heroin and drug paraphernalia inside his car.

The 21 year old aspiring pro wrestler is gaining a growing criminal record including assault and battery in 2007 and an original driving whilst impaired in early March causing his license to be revoked.

Ric Flair has gone on record a number of times saying his son has “a lot of growing up to do” but this recent incident poses serious felony charges. He was bailed out on a $15,000 bond.

  1. That’s sounds serious. heroin? That’s way beyond “needing to grow up”. I’m not being judgmental, my heart goes out to him. Heroin is such a terrible drug because even if you kick it, your never the same again. I hope it wasn’t his but… come on. I just hope Ric is there for him because wrestling career or not, that boy is in hell.

  2. who cares, this stuff happens everyday

  3. I think he should have left him in prison. If he has growing up to do, I can’t think of a better place for him to learn that lesson – since he isn’t picking it up at home.

  4. It sounds as if Reid is headed down a road that leads to nowhere. Hopefully he can put these setbacks behind him and grow into a stronger and wiser person.

  5. Some or most of these larger than life athletes give in to the pier pressures, others look to escape from lifes pressures.
Imagine working 330 days a year, living out of a suitcase, having virtuely no family like other than what you can squeeze in the slivers of time you have. Live breathe, eat and sleep being someone with a persona different on the stage than off in public.
Also the fight to be bigger, stronger, faster, more muscular, when is muscular enough? If you have 22″ biceps and 60″ chest are you there or do you keep pushing for more?
Imagine having a father or uncle in the business who is a legend and your expected to follow in his shoes. For every one Randy Orton, Hulk Hogan or Batista there must be 75 other guys who want to make it to that level……..imagine the pressure.
No wonder the kid is on drugs.

    “The Powerlifter”

  6. You’re very mistaken if you think that’s the life Reid Flair leads. He wrestles sparingly; however I do agree that having Flair as a father would no doubt be the root of some of his issues.

  7. It sounds to me like Reid needs to do some “growing up” in prison.

  8. come on 2nd generation. enough with the drugs. his nickname should be “Weed” Flair
