Flair Still Free Agent, Randy Savage Signs Confiscated, Ratings News

- Ric Flair is still a free agent and not exclusive to WWE. He severed ties with ROH out of respect for WWE.

“We’ve had several inquiries since Ric Flair began to appear frequently on RAW again as to whether or not Ric is still available for appearances outside of WWE, so here’s a statement from The Man himself: “I will always be a part of the WWE family, however I am still anxious to get out there and meet my fans in person. I have had a great time doing just that since my retirement! My agent is currently negotiating appearances across the US and several abroad that will allow me to meet my fans around the world. I am very excited about these new opportunities! WooooOOOooo!’”

- Randy-Savage.com received an e-mail from WWE fan Brian Henderson that WWE security violently took away from him and his friends a large Randy Savage banner they made last night. He was sitting 9 rows back on the hard camera side. Apparently security explained the reason as “He’s not part of the show anymore. No need for a sign.”

- WWE’s ratings could see a permanent small boost as Jon & Kate Plus 8 will go on hiatus until August following the Gosselins’ separation announcement on Monday’s episode. This is one of their major ratings competitors. If they don’t see a boost, they will at least rank higher in the ratings wars.

  1. The WWE has really lost the plot with this sign confiscating thing. I did not know the US or The United States of The E’ was a communist country… Next they will start making you wear their merch or you don’t get into the show.

  2. I always thought that Vince Mcmahon would be a facist if he ever ran for office.
