Flair Knocked Off Top Spot, WWE Acknowledges TNA With Wildcat Reference

- Despite its massive sales the Ric Flair DVD hasn’t stayed at number one for as long as The Rock’s did, thanks to the NBA. Here’s the full top ten Billboard Recreational and Sports DVD rankings for this week:

1 NBA Champions 2007-2008: Boston Celtics
2 WWE: Nature Boy Ric Flair: The Definitive Collection
3 WWE: The Rock: The Most Electrifying Man In Sports Entertainment
4 NHL: Detroit Red Wings: Stanley Cup 2007-2008 Champions
5 MLB: Yankee Stadium: Baseball’s Cathedral
Shout! Factory
6 WWE: WrestleMania XXIV
7 WWE: One Night Stand 2008
8 NFL: Road To Super Bowl XLII
9 UFC 82: Pride Of A Champion
10 WWE: Twist Of Fate: The Matt and Jeff Hardy Story

It’s still full of WWE titles as always though.

- I had a chance to re watch this week’s ECW a little more closely and I don’t know if anybody noticed but during the backstage conversation between Matt Hardy and Braden Walker (formerly Chris Harris of TNA) Matt Hardy mentioned that Colin Delaney is a “real wildcat.” Both of them smiled. I’m guessing this was a reference to Chris Harris’ days in TNA as “The Wildcat.”

People are often quick to say Vince doesn’t watch TNA or acknowledge its product, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t assign other people to watch it.
