Flair Highly Likely To Wrestle, Vince Nuggets Update, Dawn Marie Gives Birth

- It is highly likely that Ric Flair will end up wrestling again for WWE in the coming weeks, and the seed was obviously planted this past Monday on Raw. As noted, Naitch has been given a short term deal with the company going in to the Extreme Rules PPV.

There are a number of possible reasons for this, mainly his divorce, issues with Reid Flair and the fact that he’s openly admitting that he wants to wrestle again. And WWE is in a position where they’d rather have him wrestle for them, before he ends up wrestling in a ROH or TNA ring.

They can maybe get around it by having him in an non sanctioned “extreme” match, or as simply Batista’s manager, and as fans we probably don’t want him to tarnish his retirement, but it’s seen as less of a big deal in the company’s eyes than in the fans, so don’t be surprised to see him lace up the boots.

- WWE.com has a new article about the WWE vs Denver Nuggets situation, and the ever arrogant Vince McMahon was quick to point out all the other stadiums grovelling for the WWE product:

“While working to resolve the scheduling conflict between Raw and the Denver Nuggets’ NBA Western Conference Semifinals game against the Los Angeles Lakers, WWE officials have received proposals from numerous venues including Madison Square Garden and, ironically, the STAPLES Center – the home of the Nuggets’ Monday night opponents, the Lakers.”

- ECW original Dawn Marie gave birth to a baby girl at 8:10 a.m. “We are both healthy and doing well. Thank you for all of your support,” reads her Facebook page. They have chosen the name Katie.

Congrats to Dawn!

  1. Soo that Segment about The Undertaker bowing down to Flair on Raw didn’t mean nothing.

  2. wow after that whole retire celebration, & Like you said rick , the undertaker breaking kayfabe & bowing Down & hugging flair, was all for nothing. their really gonna tarnish his legacy

  3. Why… this is really low of the WWE. I love Ric Flair, and cried when his retirement happend. If you check WWE.com, they are having a 5 man tag match. Randy Orton, The Legacy, The Big Show, and The Miz vs. MVP, John Cena, Batista, Jerry “The King” Lawler and a “mystery player”… I have to think… is it Ric Flair? I hope not.

  4. flair is like the brett favre of wrestling
