February 19, 2009, TNA Impact Spoilers

Thanks to Jon Jones for the second TNA Impact taping spoilers, this time to air on February 19, 2009.

- Jim Cornette, Mick Foley and Jeff Jarrett are shown in the office discussing Kurt Angle vs. Sting. Opinion is split on whether the match should happen. Foley throws in the first WWE reference of the night by saying: “remember half time of the Super Bowl?” Cornette says Foley isn’t helping. Neither is the writing here.

- The Motor City Machineguns beat Jay Lethal and Consequences Creed in a streetfight.

- Jeremy Borash is shown in the office with Cornette, Jarrett and Foley. Cornette says Angle’s demands have been met. We’re then told that when Angle vs. Sting takes place, we have to leave the Impact Zone but can watch outside on monitors. Going into the show, I thought they’d actually have taped it earlier in the day or after we all went home.

- AJ Styles attacked Booker T backstage after some arguing between the Main Event Mafia.

- Beer Money, Inc. issue an ‘Off The Wagon Challenge’ for later tonight. The idea is they face a tag team and whoever gets pinned has to leave TNA and can’t return.

- LAX and Shane Sewell beat Matt Morgan, Shiek Abdul Bashir and Brutus Magnus when Sewell pinned Bashir.

- Taylor Wilde beat Angelina Love.

- Beer Money, Inc. beat Eric Young and Petey Williams when Roode pinned Williams. Good to see Team Canada back but the result now means that Petey Williams is gone from TNA.

- At this point we got kicked out of the Impact Zone. Kurt Angle vs. Sting went to a no-contest after Kevin Nash and Scott Steiner got involved. Looked a good brawl from what I saw of it. Nash held back Sting as Steiner restrained Angle to end the show. I really hope we’re not getting a MEM vs. MEM feud out of this.
