Tatanka vs. Damien Demento.
Tatanka gets a quick small package and clotheslines Demento to the floor. Demento stops to seek guidance from the heavens. It must have worked because he blocks a corner charge with a clothesline to take over. Tatanka hulks up, hits a few Tomahawk Chops and finishes with the Samoan Drop at 4:10.
Headlock on Hunger charity plug.
Brutus “the Barber” Beefcake announces that he is going to return to active wrestling. He tells a sob story about burying both parents and having his wife leave him just before the para-sailing accident. He was about to go with God, but Hulk Hogan stopped him. Vince reminds him that his face is held together with tie tacks and Elmer’s Glue, but Brutus is adamant. Lots of fans were heckling Brutus throughout, but you could hear one shouting, “Kill yourself!” Classy.
High Energy vs. Iron Mike Sharpe & Von Krus Glen Ruth
High Energy is Owen Hart and Koko B.
Sharpe is the world’s loudest jobber. Von Krus is Big Vito (Smackdown’s cross-dresser) back when he was a jobber. High Energy makes quick work of the jobbers. Owen dropkicks Sharpe to the floor, and they finish Von Krus with a Doomsday Dropkick into a Jackknife at 1:32.
Evil Doink the Clown does his usual antics to defeat Typhoon.
Moment of silence for Andre the giant, who only past away the week before.
Yokozuna (w/Mr. Fuji) vs. Bobby DeVito.
DeVito charges right into a thrust kick. Vince takes a call from Hacksaw Duggan, who complains that Yoko has a Japanese name. Duggan promises to knock Yoko off his feet. Yoko finishes DeVito with the Bonsai Drop at 2:02.
Money Inc. has nothing better to do, so they come out to make fun of Brutus Beefcake. Dibiase: “When you got your face smashed, you knocked a screw loose. No pun intended. BWAHAHAHAH!” Dibiase says either he or Irwin R. Shyster will accept the challenge. They flip a coin, and Dibiase wins, so he challenges Brutus to a match. Jimmy Hart walks down and says they are taking unnecessary risks when they’re the tag team champions. Dibiase says there’s nothing to worry about because Beefcake won’t come out of the match in good shape. Irwin says, while Beefcake was injured, he wasn’t paying any taxes. Gotta admire the dedication to the gimmick. Hart finally convinces them to head to the back and focus on their tag team commitments.
Lex Luger comes out to pose, but he’s upset that a fat lady is carrying the ring cards.
Mr. Perfect tosses the old pigskin around with the Minnesota Vikings’ Steve Jordan. Perfect displays his football acumen by completing an 80-yard touchdown pass to himself.
Lex Luger vs. Jason Knight.
Steamboat leaves, Flair comes in. Flair leaves, Luger comes in. Jason would go on to semi-fame in ECW. Luger arm drags him and hits a Warrior-ish clothesline. Luger forearms him and gets the pin with a pinky to the chest at 2:39. After the match, he gives Knight the Giant Swing.
