Fan Steals Al Snow’s Head, Full Starrcade DVD Listing, Deuce Next To Go?

- At a recent Indy wrestling show in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, a fan jumped the rail during Al Snow’s match against Randy Myers and stole his “Head” prop. He made a beeline for the street but was ultimately taken care of a few blocks down.

- According to several sources Deuce has at least been considered for being the next WWE wrestler to be released. The only thing keeping him there is that he is a second generation star, being the adopted son of Jimmy Snuka.

- Here is the complete listing for the upcoming Starrcade DVD released by WWE:

For close to two decades, it was the signature event – first in NWA, then WCW. Some of the greatest Superstars in wrestling history had defining moments at the event. Starrcade may be gone, but fans of sports entertainment continue to celebrate its rich tradition and lasting legacy. Now, for the first time on DVD, the greatest matches of Starrcade are collected in a 3-disc set, along with a new and exclusive documentary exploring the 18-year history of the event, including comments from Ric Falir, Dusty Rhodes, Magnum TA, Road Warrior Animal, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, David Crockett, and others. The featured matches, as voted by the WWE Universe, are counted down by some of the key players from the time.

  1. Deuce has TONS of potential IMO and it would be a big mistake to let him go until they at least find out what he’s fully capable of.

And this Starrcade DVD is shaping up to be one of the all-time greats. It’s been awesome seeing Tully Blanchard again on these DVD’s.

  2. It worries me that so many are being shown the door - if they don’t give guys a chance they will have no stars of the future, most headliners are older wrestlers and talent like Elijah Burke etc need to be developed. Yes, some won’t make it and will need to leave but to release good workers isn’t clever.

  3. I’m just extremely mystified by the overall direction and vision of the company. Anyone else having WCW deja vu?
