ECW Taping Switcheroo, The Slammy Awards Return, New Diva

- As of December 30th until the end of January ECW will be taped alongside Raw as it has been most recently. This means the team has one day to conduct post production (unless it is an entire week in advance). The WWE TV taping in East Rutherford, New Jersey on December 30th, 2008 has been changed to a double Smackdown taping and WWE has canceled the Smackdown taping in Lafayette, Louisiana on January 6th, 2009.

- The infamous WWE Slammy Awards from the mid 90’s will see a revival this year as on the December 8th, 3 hour Raw special, the concept will return as part of the broadcast. The original idea was a sort of Grammy, MTV Music Award-esque type event based around wrestling.

- A new Diva made a cameo last night on Raw as developmental wrestler Milena Roucka was filmed sitting in the crowd with a sign reading “Glamazon in Training.” This is part of her gimmick that will develop over the coming weeks.
