ECW Rating, Wrestlemania’s Announce Team, Marcus Cor Von Returning
- This past Tuesday’s ECW on Sci-Fi drew a 1.3 cable rating which is the same as TNA Impact.
- According to Jim Ross’ blog the Wrestlemania announce team will consist of himself, Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole, presumably for the whole night. It’s a shame Grisham and Striker can’t get on the show, but I’m glad Jim Ross can pick up the slack between Cole and Lawler.
As reported the other day Tazz has left the company.
- Marcus Cor Von, aka Monty Brown, who had a top run in TNA and a small run most recently on ECW told Mlive.com that he’s negotiating to return to WWE.
“I had to take some time away for a while on my own terms, but I kept a good rapport with the company and can come back at any time. I’ve got a lot going and I had a lot going (before leaving the WWE).”
Brown left WWE in 2007 to look after some children in the family that lost a parent.

Striker should be on WM25 but like Swagger (who I also wanted on the card) he has the potential to be on many future ones.
Hope to see Cor Von return as he looked good and had an excellent and unique finisher.
They should have picked Striker over Michael Cole. After listening to Michael for a hour, it gets boring. With Striker he gives a quick history lesson or explains what its like to be in the ring during a certain hold or move that would make WM25 much better.
