ECW Rating Drops, Former WCW Star Joins WWE, WWE Getting Sued

- Former WCW hardcore champion Norman Smiley has joined WWE as a trainer for development territory Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). He joins Billy Kidman, among others as the main trainers. He will not have an on air role with WWE for the foreseeable future.

- ECW drew a 1.4 cable rating this week on the Sci-Fi network. This is down from last week’s 1.5 cable rating.

- Another fan is attempting to sue WWE for alleged injuries received in the crowd during a live event. Twyla Riley claims she sustained injuries to her head, back, neck, knee, ankle and elbow when she claims a railing gave way at the 5/19/07 Smackdown show at the Gale Bullman Multipurpose Center on the Missouri University of Science and Technology campus in Rolla. WWE claims the woman is at fault.

Although this could be completely legit, last time this happened a woman completely fabricated a story that she was injured when the Sandman came through the crowd.
