D’Lo Brown Debuts, Kofi Kingston’s Push, TNA Street Team At WWE PPV
Source: Wrestling Observer
- Kofi Kingston’s Intercontinental title win was decided somewhat spontaneously. Apparently Jeff Hardy was originally scheduled to get the win from Chris Jericho, but when he moved to Smackdown their backup plan was put in to place. Some people in the company feel it’s too early for Kofi and it could expose his weaknesses, but there are others that are ecstatic and the push of a new fresh face.
- A small number of TNA Street Team members were handing out TNA flyers at the Night of Champions PPV.
- D’Lo Brown re-debuted with the WWE at Raw last night, beating Charlie Haas in the dark match. He got fair response from the audience, although some didn’t seem to know him.
