Developmental Stars Released, Flair Discusses ROH, New Announcers

- FCW developmental stars Maverick Darsow (son of “Demolition Smash) and Lupe Santiago have been released.

- Ric Flair had this to say regarding his ROH departure to the NY Daily:

“The decision was mine alone. Nothing against ROH, but I decided you can’t serve two masters, and my loyalty lies with the WWE. I feel very comfortable being there.”

As reported yesterday, Flair is still technically free to wrestle elsewhere because he has yet to sign a WWE deal.

- WWE are actively looking for new announcers to. They require 1-to-3 years play-by-play sports announcing experience, writing and TV production skills, excellent verbal communication skills, a college degree in Journalism, Communications or a related field, and knowledge of the programming, talent and storylines.
