Thanks to Alex Brooks:

The All-American American Jack Swagger opened the show by announcing his greatness and giving fans a look at what he has done in his career with a video package. He said that not a lot has changed since he left because Christian is still ECW champion and Tommy Dreamer is still fat. Swagger said that he is a past and future ECW Champion and left the ring.

Match One- Zack Ryder vs. Tommy Dreamer

Zack Ryder entered with Rosa almost immediately after Swagger left the ring. This is Dreamer’s last match on ECW after giving his notice today.

Dreamer started strong by knocking Ryder to the mat quickly. Ryder got back up and used his speed to maneuver around Tommy and gain the advantage. He whipped Dreamer against the ropes; Dreamer reversed Ryder’s attempt for a slam and knocked him out of the ring. Dreamer tried to attack Ryder from the side apron until Rosa interfered.

Ryder took advantage of the distraction and swept Dreamer’s legs. Ryder threw Dreamer in the ring and put him into a headlock. Dreamer powered out and tried to roll up Ryder; giving him a two count. After they both got up, Ryder hit a quick leg lariat and went to the top rope.

Dreamer got a second wind and met Ryder at the top rope. After back and forth blows, Dreamer superplexed Ryder. Dreamer picked up Ryder for a power slam, followed by a two count on a pin attempt. Dreamer put Ryder in the corner upside down and hit the ECW dropkick. Dreamer took off his shirt and went for the Dreamer Driver. Ryder slipped out of the ring and hit Dreamer. He picked up the ECW Original and hit him with a Zack Attack. Ryder wins by pinfall.

The Abraham Washington Show feat. Trent Beretta and Caylen Croft

Abraham opened the show to a lot of boos; as usual. Washington said that he wasn’t going to start bashing Tiger Woods because he isn’t like that. Contradictory to the previous statement, he began to bash Tiger Woods. He complimented him in excelling in outdoor and indoor sports.

Beretta and Croft came to the stage and said that they are redefining the new Superstar Initiative. Beretta compared himself and Croft to Miz and Morrison and the Hart Dynasty. Beretta said that they are and XBOX360 and the other tag teams are Nintendo 64. They noticed that there wasn’t any drinks in the cups and Abraham’s excuse was that they couldn’t afford them because it’s ECW not Monday Night Raw.

Croft and Beretta said that they will be Tag Champions by next year. Tony Atlas tells them that he was a tag champion with Rocky Johnson. Croft and Beretta say that they don’t care what he has to say and start to argue with Atlas. Washington shows his good side by standing up for Atlas and quickly tells him to end the show.

Tiffany Backstage w/ Jack Swagger

Swagger said that he couldn’t beleive Tiffany is still running ECW. Tiffany came back by telling him that it is much better without him. Swagger replied by saying that without him here ECW has guys like… SWOOSH

The Hurricane interrupted Swagger and made his point at the same time. Swagger asked Hurricane what his powers were and he replied by saying they stretch beyond all imagination. Hurricane added in that the only thing he can’t do is fix Swagger’s speech impediment.

Analysis

Tonight’s ECW was the best I have seen in a long time. Swagger returning seemed to add life to the show. Beretta and Croft continue to impress and this time it was on the mic. Hurricane was hilarious in his one minute on the show. Archer made his return to ECW after a one week absence and continued his dominance. I like the way the Homecoming is setting up with Jackson, Archer, Kane, and now Tatsu. Tatsu winning was the biggest shocker of the night. My pick last week has already been dashed. However, the other participants in the Homecoming match are almost three times Yoshi’s size so I doubt he will win the entire thing. I can’t wait for the return of Matt Hardy and Evan Bourne next week. There are only four more spots in the Homecoming match and they way they fill up will be interesting.

Quick Hits

Zack Ryder d. Tommy Dreamer

Vance Archer d. Goldust

Yoshi Tatsu d. Jack Swagger
