Cruiserweight Title, Matt Hardy Disses Paul London, Randy Orton’s Pose
- With Jamie Noble being moved to ECW, the debut of Tyson Kidd, the return of Evan Bourne, the hiring of guys like Low Ki, and the interest in wrestlers like Brian Danielson, many are speculating that the Cruiserweight title might come back to WWE. Although nobody has heard anything, now would be a great time to have some solid Cruiserweight action.
Even Dragon Gate star Cima got a dark match this week, which makes you wonder, because he is definitely not a “WWE style” guy.
- In a partially in charcter WWE Universe blog the ever controversial Matt Hardy turns his attention to the recently released Paul London and all the interviews he has been doing lately. Hardy wrote:
..You know, the same kind of “Black Cloud” that took away everything from some “Hooligan” that used to be employed by the WWE. And these are facts-it’s someone I got hired after allowing him to have a great match with me on Velocity, and then by going to bat to management for him. It’s someone who wrestled his most famous and self-confessed “favorite” WWE match in a contest that I was in and totally engineered and manufactured. And then he became bitter because he attempted to follow in my footsteps, and couldn’t measure up as a man in any way-and I mean in any way. Just another example of what happens when you attempt to cross Matt Hardy, I ALWAYS win in the end. Not only am I “The Starmaker”, I’m also a “Startaker.” Enjoy your pathetic life, you’re welcome.
[I must admit, whether he uses genuine heat or not, Hardy is doing well at coming across as a heel online].
- Randy Orton has been informed that he must stop using his arm pose or any other kind of pose to limit his face reaction. Right now they want to keep him the ultimate heel and not let the Steve Austin like turn happen for a good year. If you noticed, Orton got a pop after kicking McMahon, but it was obviously post produced differently.

That’s stupid. I love Orton, but I love him as a heel. His arm pose and arrogance is what makes him who he is. I don’t think people want him to become a face, I think people just enjoy watching a badass like Orton.
It would be really great to see the Cruiserweight Championship back in the WWE after its disgraceful retirement. Putting it on ECW would be brilliant as it needs another title to give the mid-carders something to fight for.
Interesting note about Orton not doing his in ring pose of late.
It would be great for the cruiserweight title to come back but it would be better if they brought back the television title. It has more prestige and plus their is no weight limit.
How a bout a DX vs DX , type of rivalry.
Shawn should team up with CM Punk and Jeff Hardy on Raw, and
Triple H should team up with Batista and John Cena (if Bobby Lashly ever returns he should be in the place of John Cena) on Smackdown.
Eventually, Degeneration eXtreme (Shawn’s team) gets traded to Smackdown and faceoff against Degeneration eXibitionist (Triple’s team which would be Heels and Bobby would be the last to turn)
