When I saw him in the indies in Detroit he did this crusade against hardcore wrestling and it was just great! His mic skills are solid. Much better then other main event stars like Randy Orton who to me, sounds nervous all the time. Swagger has a way to go in my opinion. He does have a good ring presence however. I just think he needs a better finishing move. The gut wrench powerbomb is a basic move. Something unique to him would be better. His mic. Skills aren't bad, but they aren't good either. He's young.
