I started watching WWE properly a short while before the whole 'Invasion' storyline and so missed the rise of Austin and The Rock. To me Angle and Benoit were the reason to watch every week. They were on the first Smackdown I watched and they both left lasting impressions on me, which I believe is why I continue to watch wrestling to this day. I have to say my favourite Angle vs Benoit match was probably at the Royal Rumble a few years later for the title. It's hard to say though because they were amazing whenever they were in the ring together.
