Wrestling world? Sports entertainment? Get real, Hogan was the one who brought wrestling out of the small-time and into what it is today. You can talk like your some sort of expert about how technical wrestling and solid work rate are the gold standards, but let’s face it, Hogan did far less in the the ring and pulled in obscene amounts of money. Why hate him for that? You might say that you preferred the old NWA style with Steamboat, Flair and the Andersons. They were great and made for great matches, but WCW never made a dime of profit until 1995, when Hogan came along. So stop whining, if you don’t like him fine, but he’s responsible for bringing wrestling to what it has become.

if Hogan didn’t want his private life scrutinized by the public, he would not have put it on display for the whole world to see. He opened himself to personal criticism when he put his family life on television.
Now he and Bischoff have produced a celebreality show, attempting to turn former TV stars into in-ring performers. Yes, it does reveal even more of the mystery of wrestling to the mark and it doesn’t seem realistic to the wrestling fans, but must we remind you that Hogan did not come from the Wrestling world, he came from “sports entertainment”. That is the way you can expect his celebrity wrestling show to be presented. If you want wrestling you are going to have to pick and choose. You will have to be selective if you want wrestling and you will have to accept the show as it is if you ever expect to nehoy it.

I was a fan of Hulk Hogan and I still am. After reading these
comments I’m shocked at what I read. And I agree with Michael.
Give Hogan a break and leave the guy alone.

There’s no reason for anyone to know about everything that go’s
on in his life. And I’m a fan of wrestling too. So when I saw
a commercial on this it did’nt intrest me because I thought it
would be boring.

If anything I think Hogan should start his own wrestling school.

thats right and if that alone is any inklination as to what and who hogan really is i think its only right and fair for all these people to leave hogan alone already.I mean look the past is the past, the 80s are the 80s and the 90s are the 90s, reguardless of whats happened in his PRIVATE PERSONAL LIFE it doesnt make a difference as to who he is in the wrestling business.Come on people, all hogan is trying to do here is do something that he obviously still has a passion for, so maybe if hes not able to get back in the ring the way he used if were all true fans and bleed red and yellow lets support him and back him up….

okay people albeit that the concept of this show is pretty hysterical but why cant people leave hogan alone already.he did not drive the car that nick had the crash in, he didnt go tell linda to go bone some boy three times younger than her and he didnt do anything to anyone….hogan is a legend in the wrestling business and in my eyes hell always be only one thing……so lay off already people…why not go pick on brittney or the olsen twins or someone else thats worth it….hell even one of these celebs trying to wrestle…go pick on screech lord knows hes a huge ass…..

I think that’s true for a lot of us, but people still love Hogan. On Raw the other week when his music hit before Haas came out there was a legitimate pop.

On Hogan’s last reality show, Hogan won father of the year. But when the camera’s got turned off, His son drives drunk and almost kills his best freind, we find out Hulk has an affair, then his wife moves to California to date a schoolmate of Brooke’s.

The point is, he can’t seel to the public that what he puts on TV is reality. We don’t believe him anymore.
