A lot of people forget that he managed one of the greatest tag teams in the history of wrestling – The Wild Samoans. Captain Lou had the uncanny knack to make people notice him and whatever wrestler(s) he was managing at the time. Whether you loved him or hated him you could never forget him. RIP Captain Lou.

Lou will greatly be missed, and I am disappointed that this article does not mention Super Mario. Captain Lou brought the most famous video game character ever to life every saturday morning when i was growing up, and I thank him for it.
