Captain Lou Albano Passes Away

Just days after receiving word that Captain Lou Albano, 76, was admitted to a care home, the legendary wrestler and manager has died. He had been fighting cancer.

Fans will remember his famed filled 80s run that saw him cross over in to movies as well as music, starring in Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,” music video.

  9. Lou will greatly be missed, and I am disappointed that this article does not mention Super Mario. Captain Lou brought the most famous video game character ever to life every saturday morning when i was growing up, and I thank him for it.
