Bret Hart Walks Out During Iowa Hall Of Fame Ceremony

During his induction speech in regards to his late father Stu Hart at the Dan Gable Hall of Fame Ceremony over the weekend, former superstar and WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart walked out in a huff mid sentence.

Hart was invited to the event in Waterloo, IA over the weekend to induct his father put seemed to be offended by the presence of journalists Greg Oliver and Steve Johnson – Olivier being there to accept the Jim Melby Memorial Award for wrestling journalism.

According to Dave Meltzer Bret Hart has hated Oliver ever since he only listed Bret Hart as the 14th greatest Canadian wrestler ever in one of his books and wrote a negative review of Hart’s recent autobiography.

Bret said openly to everyone, either he leaves (in reference to Greg Oliver) or I do. Steve Johnson left but Oliver stayed, so Hart stormed out.

Bret Hart is a great wrestler but takes his greatness far too seriously. Why tarnish your fathers name because of a petty thing like a book review?

The Dan Gable wrestling museum was recently damaged in the worst flooding of the area in nearly 50 years.
