Bobby Lashley TNA Update, Mr Kennedy’s Release, More Jim Ross
- Bobby Lashley has been saying that he’s still in negotiations with TNA, but won’t sign anything until after he fights Bob Sapp later this month.
- More details have filtered out about Mr Kennedy’s release, and as alluded to in a previous update Randy Orton was the one that put the word in to get him fired.
Early reports that Kennedy injured his wrist were sent out as a red herring to protect what really went on. In truth during the match he back suplexed Orton, whom got angry because of his previous collar bone injury, this resulted in him snapping Kennedy extra hard with the RKO, which led to the wrist rumors.
Following the match Orton told Vince that Kennedy is dangerous to work with and Vince rashly fired him. A lot of people are said to be shocked at the release, and think that Vince acted too soon.
Orton, who also helped get rid of Manu obviously has significant power backstage. Some wrestlers see him as paranoid that he’s going to lose his top spot, and there is even some friction between him and Cena due to jealousy. Wrestling politics at its best folks!
Kennedy has a 90 day no compete clause.

“It is regrettable that WWE decided to release Mr. Kennedy, that ring name will be long gone, as he was at the age to really begin to come into his own. Injuries have plagued the Wisconsin native for a good part of his career but as best I know Kennedy is 100% as we speak. Without question, Kennedy has a definable upside and he will hopefully continue his journey in this biz and make his dreams become realties. Take it from me being released isn’t the end of the world and things in our lives have a way of working out for the best unless one throws in the towel and simply says “what the hell?” As I mentioned before, a change of scenery sometimes is what the doctor ordered. Hopefully this will work out for the best for all involved. For the record, I do not know why Kennedy was released and look at that matter as none of my business.”

“My uninformed guess is that Kofi Kingston might well win a fan favorite bout against MVP Monday night in Birmingham on Raw and become the new United States Champion. My reasoning? MVP had his prom date experience with Sherri Sheppard this weekend which I am speculating will alter Montel’s game on Monday night. MVP & Sherri do make a cute couple and I assume this date will be discussed on ABC’s “The View” at some point.”
On Superstars:
“Someone needs to help the WGN voice over guy how to pronounce Cena as in CEE-NA and not SAY-NA. Come on brother work with us.”
On Flair:
“When will we next see Ric Flair in a WWE ring? Will it be as early as Monday Night? Naitch called me late Friday night and told me he would see me in a few days, whatever that means. It was late and it was Friday night and it was loud where ever Ric was which I assume wasn’t the public library. Flair “wrestling” in WWE still seems unlikely. Ric wrestling outside the USA seems like a gimme.”

what a shame that we got to deal with orton and cena acting like babies backstage for the top spot in todays bullshit wrestling. these 2 are NOT that @#$%#@* entertaining for the love of god!!!!!!! rated pg drama at its best is more like it.
I love Orton as a character and wrestler in all of professional wrestling. He knows how to work the crowd and his ring skills are amazing. He just seems like a complete asshole in real life. It’s a shame!

We all know Ric Flair is a superstar and we all know he is (well so he says) is Retired! If that is so, then why is he still around the ring or wanting to wrestle? Come onRic you are retired! Move on!
Old ECW kicked ass! It had no rules and it was fun to watch I miss that along with WCW Now the Present day EC crap! ECW is extreme! Not a baby type television tv show! I see more old ECW wrestlers on TNA HELL YEAH!!

Orton can suck my dick from left side, from right side, and from the middle. he’s a paperdog, cannot stand a suplex, and gets fired one of the most entertaining wrestler… Orton’s promo style boring and monotone, his wrestling style is also boring and monotone and now he drilled out someone who is more exciting than him in every way…
He should be named Lee Harvey Osvald, he killed Kennedy…
If Orton is really the reason Kennedy got released…it’s complete bull. Orton probably say Kennedy as a threat. I mean come on he didn’t land that hard! and if that suplex really hurt that bad then maybe it’s Orton that should be sidelined for a while!? I agree with Kennedy being way more entertaining weather as a heal or face. Orton’s gimmick is getting stale too quick. Unless they can find another angle for him I don’t see how they’re going to keep their ratings up with him.

Orton is HHH’s boy so whatever Hunter wants Hunter gets. I hope Vince pulls his head out his nether region soon because he’s backing the lamest talent the most. Big Show, Chavo Guerrero, Brian Kendrick, Shelton Benjamin, Finlay, The Great Khali & the absolute worst performer in every way possible Mark Henry. Push these guys all you want they will never ever get to that promise land.
Guys like Cena, Paul Burchill, David Hart Smith, Ron Killings (terrible intro), John Morrison, Curt Hawkins, Carlito & love him or hate him The Miz are all easily winning personalities. TNA outside of the Misfit Mafia has much better talent that consistently outshines all WWE brands week in and out.
There is only one in the WWE Christian who got pushed properly for awhile. He should be on Smackdown and he should be the Champion over all the talent there because no one handles the mic better than him on the entire active roster.

Mr Kennedy has the potentiol to be 1 of the all time greats when he first started in wwe i couldnt stand him but as i watched more matches i began to see the tallent timing and charisma he possesed
Any body seen that from randy “the headlock” orton who is only there becos of who his father was. At the most he is midcard who relies on other wrestlers to make him look good Just who does he think he is the number of divas that swap brands becos they refuse to work on the same show as him with rumered allegations ogf sexual harrasment in the past. When will people realise he is 1 of those wrestlers who need to work with people who can make him look better than he is *(HHH Flair Taker Foley)his matches with Cena (another who cant wrestle but makes up for it with charisma) were the most dull matches i have seen for years. and b4 u all bitch me for bein biased as he is a heel my fave at the mo is edge (1 of the best of this generation) any comments apreciated
