Blood Is Back, Why Impact’s Rating Dropped, Lilian’s Last Day, More JR

- WWE had originally edited out the blood from their online Classics on Demand service by cutting to black and white, but have now decided to go back to the original versions.

- The reason why last week’s impact dropped to a 1.0 cable rating is quite possibly because Time Warner’s cable system didn’t DVR the show for its users.

- Lilian Garcia’s last day with the WWE will be September 21st. Her contract has already expired but is sticking around out of faith so WWE can make headway with her replacement.

- Good old JRis back with another JRSBARBQ.com blog post. Here are the wrestling highlights:

On the Fink:
Great work by WWE HOF’er Howard Finkel, too. Johnny Olson & Rod Roddy have nothing on the Fink who was cast perfect in his role Monday night. Great to hear Fink’s voice on TV.

On Taker vs Punk:
Has any got any info on whether the Undertaker has ever submitted in his WWE tenure? I can’t recall it. The Anaconda Vice vs the Devil’s Gate seems to be the story in the ‘Taker-Punk title tilt. Yes, I’m familiar with the “Vice.”

On Y2J:
Jericho vs MVP was an excellent outing. Hopefully, their bout will add more interest to Sunday’s PPV. Jericho is truly gifted. Y2J’s interaction w/ Bob Barker was damn good stuff.

  1. If Lilians contract is up, does that mean she’s working for free? I bet she’s that afraid, I would be.

  2. What are Lilians future plans?
