Beth Phoenix In WWE Game, Flair’s First Shoot Interview, The Westler

- Beth Phoenix is the next superstar to be added to the WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2009 video game. Santino Marella was announced yesterday. I’m unsure if there will be a Glamarella connection in the game though.

- We reported a bidding war for Ric Flair’s shoot interview was up to a whopping $50,000, and it has now been confirmed that HighSpots.com will be doing the shoot.

“The Highspots.com interview with the incomparable Ric Flair will be conducted over a three week session at the Highspots offices in Charlotte, NC. What will result is a complete documented retelling of Flair’s entire storied career in his own words from beginning to end. This will be far more thorough than any other shoot interview ever conducted.”

- According to USA Today, movie The Wrestler is listed as one of the Top 20 films to watch at the Toronto Film Festival. “A retired wrestler with a stripper girlfriend and a heart condition is tempted into a rematch with his old foe. A Rocky for grapplers? Perhaps. More likely: a Mickey Rourke comeback courtesy of director Darren Aronofsky (The Fountain).”
