Batista’s Next Movie, ECW’s Newest Stars, Brooke Disses Macho Man
- Although he’s far cry from Dwayne Johnson WWE’s Batista is managing to line up several movie roles, a profession he hopes to continue when he retires from the ring.
Most recently “The Animal” is negotiating terms to star in film with his friend and Boxer Manny Pacquiao, as well as Nicole Scherzinger from the Pussycat Dolls, who sang at Wrestlemania. The film called “Wapak Man” is described as a Kung Fu comedy about a single dad with five kids who accidentally acquires super powers.
- It appeared that when the draft was first made ECW got the short straw, however it has been made apparent that the likes of Evan Bourne and Jack Swagger had developed enough for the main brands, and in their place come several new superstars that look to freshen up the land of extreme.
Yoshi Tatsu has been in WWE developmental since September 2008. Originally he was a rookie out of New Japan. At the time of his signing WWE touted it as part of their Global Expansion.
Also from the September signings came Brian Jose, now dubbed Abraham Saddam Obama Washington. He was FCW’s GM before getting the call.
Sheamus O’Shaunessy is touted as the star of the bunch, having been working house shows for several weeks. He is a former FCW champion.
Tyler Reks is a laid back surfer character that is versed in high flying moves. He was originally trained by Mike Bell, the deceased brother of Chris Bell, who’s shown in the Bigger Stronger Faster documentary.

It’s well known that you don’t have to be a good actor to make money in the movies, just look at some of the action stars of the past. Batista has the “look”, therefore, a shot at making a living in film.
That’s true. Batista can get by doing hundreds of different smaller roles just going by his body. I wish him luck.
