Batista Presenting Award, JR On Mickie Being Stalked, Jericho In Racial Controversy
- WWE’s Batista will be presenting the best song award at the MTV Europe Awards in Berlin this Thursday.

WWE star Chris Jericho is wrestling with a pretty serious controversy — after he made a slew of offensive slurs against Middle Easterners and gays.
Jericho was at the Sacramento Horror Film Festival two weeks ago … for a screening of a movie in which he appears. During a Q&A session, Jericho referred to the moderator several times as “Hadji” — a term sometimes used as a racial slur against Middle Easterners.
After the first wave of slurs — and a random shot at Paris Hilton — the host jokingly takes Jericho’s drink to sniff it for booze, when Chris chimes back, “it’s apple juice … fag.”
Jericho tells TMZ, “After seeing the video I realize some inappropriate comments were made and I apologize if I offended anybody.” Jericho continues, “Just know that everyone on stage was having a blast and we all shared a drink and a laugh after! The good news is I got my wish of being posted on TMZ.”

I don’t think it was a work. Jericho is such an egomaniac. Kid friendly and he is calling someone fag. Hadji might be the dude on Jonny Quest. His character is so….boring as heck on TV. Sometimes wrestlers believe their s*it doesn’t stink.
I dunno, I don’t think he’s stupid enough to just spurt racial slurs. At the very most he deliberately did it to get coverage, but he said everyonewas having a laugh so it was probably a joke anyway. This is TMZ we’re talking about.
Jericho is far from boring, and being an egomaniac is his ‘thing’. Hes one of the most entertaining all round performers in wrestling, whos got way more experience than alot of other current main eventers. Just look at the superb matches he has had with various talent since his return, like the matches with Rey – the feud with HBK was by far the best in 2008. Hes made Show look great too. Even pulled a decent match out of a usually dull Kane on Smackdown last week. I really cant wait for the inevitable showdown with Edge on his return.
Whether it was a work or not, as Keelan has said its a report from TMZ, which is a huge work in itself.

What has the above comment done? Nothing but expose the poster as being an ignorant, close minded idiot. I think that’s better than deleting it.
I hope you see where I’m coming from. I can’t pick and choose what free speech I allow. But once the speech is out in the open, then we can see which side is right and which is wrong.
