Andrew “Test” Martin’s Autopsy Results – Accidental Overdose

The cause of death for former wrestler star Andrew “Test” Martin is being attributed to an accidental overdose of the painkiller OxyContin (oxycodone intoxication), according to the Hillsborough County medical examiner.

This was determined the same cause of death for wrestling star Sensational Sherri Martel and Hollywood Actor Heath Ledger, and the abuse of this drug causes several hundred deaths a year in the US. In the UK it is considered a class A drug due to its opium derivatives.

Because the drug has to be prescribed by a doctor, this case may end up continuing. Pain pill addiction and “mark doctors” are still a big issue in pro wrestling; but it’s not going to disappear unless the pain itself disappears.

Martin was discovered motionless by his neighbor who became worried that he hadn’t moved for several hours and phoned the authorities.

  1. Yet another reason to legalize marijuana, at least medically. It’s an excellent pain reliever, non-addictive [physically], and an outstanding muscle relaxant.

Compared to oxycontin, hydrocodone, codeine, morphine, and all the other opioids which are extremely addictive both physically and psychologically with regular use medical marijuana _needs_ to become more widespread.

  2. I agree with pyrex they should leagalize marijuana. You don’t hear people overdosing on smoking weed. It relaxes oyu and takes you to a whole nother place.

  3. You to are idiots. A guy dies from pain pills and here you are trying to legalize dope. Smoke your dope, beat off on the computer, and live your sad lives being high.

  4. I’ve been following the sport of wrestling since 1979 and so many of the wrestlers all die from drug related causes. Well…These wrestlers are wrestling on the road 275 days a year and more. The injuries they have never get a chance to heal and this is how they get addicted to pain killers. Other sports offer an off season for their athletes. Wrestling is a form of entertainment and the wrestlers never get time off. These men are human!!! It’s all about money. The promoters can care less about these wrestlers.
