Raw Rating, Steph Ignores Internet, Raven Returns, Edge News, Neidhart Update
- This past Monday’s WWE Raw featuring Ozzy and Sharron drew a 3.45 cable rating on the USA Network.
- During an interview printed in Powerslam Magazine Stephanie McMahon revealed that she no longer take any notice of TV recaps and internet news.
“I don’t read the dirt sheets at all anymore. They used to really bother me, but the numbers, live event attendances, TV ratings; they tell me what I’m doing right and wrong. We’re lucky in that way, we have a focus group in every town we go to every night, so if something’s not working we find out quickly and we can change it. We could be heading in the wrong direction and then completely change it.”
[Since Stephanie took the creative helm ratings and attendance have dropped and the only reason PPV numbers stay strong is because there is now more overseas penetration].
- Raven wrote the following on Twitter:
“As I told someone very dear to me, Oscar Wilde was wrong, you can go home again. It’s great to be back in TNA.”
He appeared on last night’s Impact taping and threw an old school fireball at Mick Foley.
- Also on Impact Jim Neidhart ended up on camera taking on Jay Lethal in a new legends vs Black Machismo storyline.
- Edge updated fans on his recovery during an interview with Play3-Live.com. “I’m doing stairs on it now. I started therapy. I’m on the long road to getting back. I’m on the road now. Before I wasn’t even on the road. I had crutches and I was in a cast, but now I can I can actually do some things like walk again and I can wear shoes.”
He is currently out with a torn Achilles tendon.

HHH vs McMahon fight 4 the right be the chairman of WWE
No that would not be a cool storyline. Vince and Triple H have fought before and all it is is rehashing the Flair v. McMahon control angle from a few years back. Let Hunter wrestle and Vince be the control freak as always. Oh yeah get wrestling people to help write storylines not Hollywood writers doing sitcom and drama shows.

I wish edge a god speed recovery as he reeks of pure awesomeness and is a one of the best wrestlers around today, if not THE best.
