Thanks to Tony:
Hello friends! Without further adu here are my thoughts on this week’s edition of TNA Impact!
1. In-ring promo with AJ Styles, Daniels, and Samoa Joe
Tony’s Take: Wow that opening segment was fun! So fun that it makes me look even more forward to their triple threat world title match at Turning Point! I smell match of the night right here folks I really do because if you thought their triple threat match at Unbreakable 05 was awesome just wait till Turning Point because I think this match could be even better! Great start to the show!
2. Beer Money Inc. defeated Eric Young and Rob Terry
Tony’s Take: Not a bad match but not a great match either!
3. Desmond Wolfe defeated Cody Deaner
Tony’s Take: Man if only all squash matches could be like that so we don’t have to sit through them anymore but anyways! As for the postmatch promo from Desmond it was the same old World Elite like promo and like I said in my Impact recap last week this guy would be such a great fit in World Elite!
4. Daniels vs AJ Styles (1)
Tony’s Take: The match did not happen here because AJ was attacked by that mystery man again! Shame because had the match happened here then maybe they could have had a lot of time to work with and perhaps add another candidate to the list of matches for TNA’s match of the year for 2009 but alas!
5. Tara defeated Hamada
Tony’s Take: Ok you’ve got 2 of the best workers in the knockout division and yet they only get 3 minutes to work with? Weak! Had this match been on PPV then this match would most certainly have gotten a lot more time to work with but nope this is TNA Impact the home of the 7-8 3 minute matches week in and week out! I am however looking extremely forward to the Tara/Kong 6 sides of steel match at Turning Point!
6. In-ring promo with Mick Foley and Abyss
Tony’s Take: The promos these 2 had leading in to their awesome Monster’s Ball match at Bound For Glory were pretty good for the most part! But this promo eh not so much! A dreadful and unnecessary segment that I could not wait for to be over because that was brutal!
7. Bobby Lashley defeated Homicide
Tony’s Take: Basic squash match nothing else to say!
8. Taylor Wilde defeated Madison Rayne
Tony’s Take: Even though I am madly in love with both of these girls this was the 2nd worst match of this show I’m sorry to say! But hey at least they got more time than the Desmond Wolfe squash of Cody Deaner did!
9. AJ Styles defeated Daniels
Tony’s Take: 5 minutes? Seriously you just gave 2 of the best workers in TNA 5 bleepin minutes? Are you bleepin kidding me? For the time it got it was fun don’t get me wrong but to be honest I was expecting this match to be almost as good as the AJ/Angle match from 3 weeks ago!
10. Matt Morgan and Hernandez defeated Team 3D
Tony’s Take: To be honest this match really did not belong in the main event slot this week because in my opinion the AJ/Daniels match should have main evented this show but anyways! As for this match I thought that it was a fairly decent match for the most part but the postmatch stuff with Rhino and 3D was interesting to say the least!
Tony’s Overall Take: That show was just as bad as last week’s show! Why? Because as usual all of the matches were short of course and aside from the opening promo with AJ, Daniels, and Joe there was nothing that really stood out for me! With next week’s show being the go home show for the Turning Point PPV TNA really needs to step it up here and produce a quality show because if they don’t then the buyrates for the PPV will be very low and I know TNA does not want that!
Well friends those were my thoughts on this week’s Impact! What did you guys think? Please feel free to leave me a comment and tell me what you guys thought of Impact.

only 2 things i didn’t like about the show. 1.. that foley/abyss promo was not that good, i agree. and 2.. please please please get velvet sky back, cause shes 100 times better than her replacement.
never bother myself to watch it
TNA have lost it lately and its only going to get worse. The finally made A.J Styles Champ and theyre making him look like a weak Champ. His one of the best wrestlers ive seen in a long time but that fool Russo doesnt know what to do with him.
Ive said it before and ill say it again, get rid of Russo and bring back one of the best things thats ever happen in wrestling, Jim Cornnett.
TNA seems to have forgot what Cornnett did for that company. Helped bring them in some of the biggest names of all time and booked unreal matches. I bet Cornnett isnt happy watching TNA going back to the dark ages. No great thought put in to anything they do now.
WCW is gone for many reasons but i know for a fact Russo was one of the main reasons
It’s ado, not adu.
aga..a..do do do, push pineapple shake a tree.
Haha, no offence meant. Enjoy your site, keep up the good work.
