The XPW: Cold Day in Hell revival event will take place 5/24 at Aviation Park in Redondo Beach, CA, with the event being taped for a Big Vision Entertainment DVD release. Talent scheduled thus far for the event are Sabu,The Sandman, a Gangstas reunion with New Jack and Mustafa teaming for the first time in nearly a decade, Vampiro, Psicosis, Supreme, Homeless Jimmy, Vic Grimes, Kaos, Johnny Webb, Veronica Caine, Pogo the Clown, Angel, Nosawa, Tool, GQ Money, and Altar Boy Luke. It's pretty impressive that they found Mustafa because Hardcore Homecoming wanted him bad for a Gangstas reunion in 2005 and were unable to track him down. Awesome! I'm definately checking out this show. XPW was the first indy promotion that I followed regularly and for that alone it would always have a special place in my wrestling heart. The roster for the show sounds pretty darn good though I have to say the lack of Rob Black, Lizzy Borden, Major Gunns, The Messiah, Kristi Myst, Shane Douglas and Mexico's Most Wanted disappoints me but I guess it's understable why some of those names are not booked for the show. Hopefully everything goes down smooth and there's no cancellations. XP-DUB XP-DUB XP-DUB!

LOL, I was just looking through my old XPW tapes, earlier. Like you said, no Messiah sucks, but it's understandable why he isn't on it. I like who they got, though. Might not be the greatest night of wrestling, in terms of match quality, but it should be fun.

I wonder, how did/do XPW DVDs do sales-wise?

Never liked XPW, it was like ECW without the skill + all the porn bullshit, sleazy as hell. Some of it was ok, but no better thanany other Indy show and the insane ultra violent shit was too much. [taBle]

ECW didn't have too many skilled wrestlers neither, now. XPW definitely wasn't something everyone would enjoy, but it was fun as hell, especially the TV shows. Too bad I sold all my XPW DVDs. Also, the Deathmatch stuff XPW did was the best you'll see done in America. Otherwise, you get boring IWA and CZW style of Deathmatches where guys walk around just hitting each other with shit and bleeding all over.

Update!~

The roster:
Confirmed to appear at Cold Day In Hell: Terry Funk (though he probably won't wrestle), Sabu, Homeless Jimmy, Raven, Sandman, Supreme, Kaos, Vampiro, ”White Trash” Johnny Webb, The Gangstas (New Jack & Mustafa), GQ Money, Angel, Pogo the Clown, Altar Boy Luke (Hawx), Lizzy Valentine, Veronica Caine, Nosawa, Kikuzawa, Scorpio Sky, The Westside NGZ

_________________________________________________
The Matches:

Due to an injury Vic Grimes is out of the main event which was supposed to be Sabu & Homeless Jimmy vs. Raven & Vic Grimes. No replacement has been named yet.

The Gangstas vs. The Westside NGZ

KAOS vs. Vampiro (it's not official yet but KAOS laid out the challenge)

GQ Money vs. "The Hardcore Homo" Angel (again, not official yet but very likely)

Show's looking good. I'm just disappointed that so far there's been no confirmation of an Enterprise on-screen reunion. :( Man, I soo wanna see that one go down.

Kaos HAS to have GQ and Caine at ringside with him. He HAS to!

I'm expecting New Jack to kill someone in the match with the Westsiders. Maybe it's just me? Where the fuck has Mustafa been?

KIZUKAWA~! GURENTAI~! That's awesome.

I want Supreme vs. Luke 2.

Just put Webb in as Raven's partner.
