WWE Legends of Wrestlemania Video Game

The character shots Keelan posted look pretty amazing - very detailed and realistic. I can't seem to make them all out though -

I noticed they left Hogan and Andre out of the shot. Hope this game lives up to the hype, definitely will be getting it if it does.

I looked at the picture and was pretty impressed. I might have to buy a PS3 for this.

3. Yep; it appears to be his "snobby" Hunter Hearst Helmsley persona - who would be defined as a "legend" by no one other than himself, the McMahon family and, maybe, his mom.

Having some mid-card afterthought on the roster is much better than Randy Savage, Tito Santana, Harley Race or Demolition.

8. Looks like his later, WCW Freebird persona (long black tights and fingerless gloves are the tip-off) where he and Jim Garvin pranced around in top hats and glittery bow-ties, looking like someone hosed the cast of A Chorus Line down in Minoxidil and Jack Daniels. No, it's not as bad as it sounds. IT'S WORSE!!!

I'm a huge fan of "classic" Michael Hayes but, to the best of my knowledge, his only Wrestlemania appearance was in that "Gimmick Battle Royal" abomination some years back. It's strange he's included in this game.

To close I just want to say: FINALLY...YOUNG RIC FLAIR in one of these games.

Can't wait to play as warrior, or a lot of those guys, it's funny that the only video games they've ever been in are 2d, and some have been in none.

The only problem is I think the game is limited on modes, so it may get boring quick.

Keelan - looks like in the site conversion my last post was lost.

Question was any idea how they got the rights to put Warrior in the game? As I understand it WWE has no rights to his image. Do you think WWE just paid him the cash to include him?

Personally I would have liked to have seen a few more people on there like Owen Hart, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash instead of Michael Hayes and Koko B. Ware

Here's the WWE roster page for the Legends of Wrestlemania - doesn't look like a complete roster since some of the wrestler's images already seen aren't seen here, but it does add some new images - like Iron Shiek, Sgt. Slaughter, Roddy Piper, and Superfly Snuka.

You're right there. They definitely captured the essence of some of the legends - Paul Bearer, HBK, Hogan all look phenomenal. Holy crap though, what did they do to Bret Hart? Looks like the graphic artist was watching Wretlemania III and confused Bret with Alice Cooper. Bret's right cheek looks gaunt.

Also if you look at the Brutus picture it looks like he has a Hitler moustache haha
It would be silly if they didn't include Taker though the man is 16-0 at Wrestlemania so it would be bewildering for them to choose Koko or Hayes over him

Lol, well as for the Warrior thing, they are actually still in court trying to settle for using his likeness in past create a wrestler modes in Sd vs Raw, so it is a bit of a head scratcher. Maybe it has something to do with using his Likeness in a reenactment of something that has already happened, aka his Wrestlemania matches. I mean WWE are allowed to use footage of him.

You know - I just noticed ... taking a look at the images from the link on the original post at the top. If you've got a decent quality monitor you can see definite portions where someone has painted over something (presumably other characters in the game). I thought at first my monitor needed cleaning, but as I scroll up and down the slight color shift tracks. It was especially noticeable around Jake the Snake/Ric Flair/Paul Bearer. Also noticed Yokozuna's ankles had been shorn off.

I think it was just poor editing. All the shots were pasted on to the same picture for ease, you can actually view them all disparately on some gaming sites.

Im really looking forward to playing as Yokozuna, And if we can import characters from SVR09 then thats amazing! Umaga v Yokozuna!

Eh - I wouldn't so much call it hate. Koko was a fine wrestler and entertaining (especially as a masked Killer Bee and trying an illegal tag-in cover, which didn't work for obvious reasons), but when there is a finite amount of places to fill then there have been many better suggestions I've read in this thread that would have been better choices than Koko (without knocking him). Plus to the best of my recollection Koko was being used prominently in WWE for about 5 years. That's a short window of time to achieve "Legendary" status.
But if I could trade a Koko for a British Bulldog or Owen Hart I'd have to do it.
