Despite being miles behind on domestic soil, TNA are actually beating WWE in Australia in ratings with Impact getting 43,000 viewers and Raw only getting 36,000. In fact Smackdown beat Raw with 38,000.

In the UK ratings are also a lot closer, although WWE are still ahead.

Maybe Kurt wasn't blowing his trumpet in recent interviews.

That was only for one week though. The next week things were back to normal and WWE had a considerable advantage over TNA. Btw, interesting fact: WWE & TNA are shown on the same channel over in Australia.

As far as TNA beating WWE in the ratings, I do know for a fact that Xplosion was kicking Raw & SD's collective asses a while ago in India and probably parts of the Middle East. I also do remember at one time TNA doing better in Germany because of Eurosport having more viewers than whatever channel WWE's on but now I don't know how things stand seen as how TNA's got a deal with the Premiere channel. In the UK the difference between WWE & TNA's ratings isn't always all that big too for that matter. So basically yeah, TNA's been growing. iMPACT's ratings in the USA might not show it but TNA is definately growing.

I couldn't find the info earlier but here it is now:

In TNA's 2nd week on Australian TV, iMPACT out rated both WWE's RAW and SmackDown. It's also interesting to note that SmackDown beat RAW this week. Below are the numbers from the listing for the Top 100 Pay Television Programs:

28. TNA IMPACT 43,000
38. WWE SMACKDOWN! 38,000
44. WWE RAW 36,000

Although TNA did beat out WWE in the ratings in Australia the week before WrestleMania, for the next two weeks, TNA was far behind Raw and Smackdown. For the week ending 4/5, Smackdown was No. 22 in Pay TV with 106,000 viewers and Raw was No. 23 also with 106,000 For the week ending 4/12, Smackdown was No. 12 with 123,000 and Raw was No. 15 with 119,000 viewers. TNA was not in the top 50 either week

im in australia and i think why TNA won the ratings is because it was the first time it was shown 3 weeks ago, and i was really excited to watch it so i stayed up until 2 to watch it because i was interested to see what they had, i think well see the ratings drop as for me it wasn't as good as i thoght and i also dont see it keeping up because of the time slot, not many peaople will stay up till 2 to wacth the whole show.

Wow I'm lucky if I stay up till 1am to watch a PPV. I remember when I was young and used to tape Heat because it was on channel 4 at like 3am lol.

^ lol even sadder than that was when it was the hols i used to stay up n watch heat!  lol..... but back then Trips occasioannly main evented heat lol so it was half decent in the c4 days lol

but as for TNA doing better in the International Ratings is because like many say its fresh and new in international territory, its a fresh product, unheard of and unseen to many people in these countries, but with TNA's innovative (At times) product they may keep this up, we'll jus hav to wait and see!
