Very well produced, back to basics type stuff with simple pre match promos etc. They did a good job of introducing the guys.

Obviously the HDNet announcer needs a little help, but he's far from a Mike Adamle.

My only problem was they didn't get much of the crowd's reaction. It came across as very dead, which we all know ROH fans are not.

To be honest though I don't think it's going to do much to boost their popularity. Who gets HDNet? And who's gonna just be flicking by and decide to watch it?

Better than nothing though.

I like what I see so far. Unfortunately I don't catch HDNet, so I either watch the shows on Youtube..or I download each show on Xbox Live as they come out. The announcer is green..but hopefully he will get better.

I'm liking the non scripted promos backstage with Kyle Durden. Just guys talking about their fight! It's more real.

The ROH show is the definition of "decent" for me. It's just a bunch of random matches between a bunch of random people. Sure, some of the matches are pretty fun tv matches but gone are days when I was so hungry for wrestling that good matches alone were enough to keep me interested in a promotion/tv show. I need more than that, I need some type of story and/or characters to get emotionally invested in. I still watch the show because I'm a hardcore wrestling fan like that and because I enjoy certain performers but I skip a lot of the stuff and watch selectively. To be honest, I prefer NWA's Wrestling Showcase TV show which, while generally following the same format, has a bit more variety and storyline development. Anyway, I get why the show is the way it is and the production is indeed good but overall I'm not too impressed by the ROH show. In my book it's just a decent wrestling tv show and that's that.

One thing I can't find is the ratings.

Downloaded some and found it utterly boring. No recognizable music, rubbish promos that did nothing for the stars. Waste of time if you ask me.

I vaguely remember reading something about HDNet not subscribing to Nielsen hence why their ratings are not being calculated.
