Did I miss something in the evolution of Kofi Kingston? Where as he used to be billed and his gimmick is still themed around being from Jamaica (presumably Kingston, Jamaica given the name) on last night's RAW (10-12-09) he was billed as being from 'Ghana, West Africa' (his true home country). Has this been going on for a while or is this new/slip up? I'm curious how WWE is coloring the our Jamaican superstar is really from Ghana shift.

I guess in yet another furtherance of the Kofi evolutionary cycle on tonight's RAW (10-26-09) on which Kofi destroys the RKO Nascar, Kofi spoke at length and had lost every trace of his Jamaican accent that was on display in his debut vignettes...

Koffi Debut Vignette

He decided on this change some time ago... His parents are happy about this too, they didn't approve of him pretending to be from Jamaica
