The point that I'm trying to make here is Vince thinks he knows what's best for the buisness when everyone else know.....HE doesn't!!!
Missed this part...
Honestly, I think 8.5 times out of 10 Vince DOES know what's best for the
wrestling business...but he doesn't care. The business has gotten too big, so he's hired a bunch of non-wrestling people and put far too much power in their hands. It's like Kee is always saying: Vince wants to turn the product into something it's not...and he has all the right people under him to achieve this goal, but not in any positive way.
It's like the reverse of the old adage, "He can't see the forest except for the trees." Vince can't see the trees because he's focusing too much on the forest. In trying to grab those upscale advertisers and mainstream acceptance, he's allowing himself (and the group of assdarts under him) to turn the product into a confused mish-mash of bullshit.
There is no doubt in my mind whatsoever that, if Vince
really wanted to, he could turn everything around in a matter of months and present a show we would want to see. But in order to do so, he'd have to focus on it being a WRESTLING show and this is something he ABSOLUTELY doesn't want to do.
Therefore we get this Kane shit. And didn't I read on this very site that the angle was turned into cocksoup because they wanted to protect the image of Adamle's character being "in control?" Props to Adamle for the job he's doing but this is a PRIME example of priorities being WAAAAAAAY out of whack.
