Here's my list of 10 things I miss about the good old days of wrestling. I'd love to hear anyone else's top 10.

1. Wrestling matches announced with "This match is scheduled for one fall with a 30 minute time limit"
2. Wrestlers announced with their names and hometown
3. Wrestlers announced from being from "parts unknown"
4. Masked jobbers
5. When wrestling music/themes were broadcast with a boombox and a microphone in front of the speaker
6. Floppy ring ropes
7. Tag teams where the members were numbered (Conquistadors)
8. Good guy/Bad guy announce teams
9. Loss of wrestling managers
10. Unscripted / Off the cuff promos

Edits -
11. Technical wrestlers like Dean Malenko and Bret Hart and technical wrestling matches.
12. Matches starting with colar-elbow tieups instead of punches (credit to americaninchina for getting the creative juices flowing on this one)

Talk about devious people - Frenchy Martin is indeed that. If he got stomped he needed it... period.

Something I noticed watching some MSG classics was security (dressed like security) walking wrestlers down. Gave it some legitimacy. Not fat Indy guy B wearing a black WWE shirt.

Bunkhouse matches. Dog Collar matches. Piledrivers and DDTs on the CEMENT FLOOR~!. Regular wrestling crowds that don't try and be the show. Street Fight matches with everyone wearing the Street Fight uniform(old jeans, boots, t-shirts, and taped fists). Blood.

Storylines that made sense. Psychology in matches. People who could wrestle. Managers that spoke, with wreslters that didn't. Women who looked good, and didn't try to wrestle.
