I actually liked having good storylines like The Corporation, DX storylines, stuff like the Austin Beer Truck incident. Things like that. In the 90's there were much more creative storylines it seemed like every match on the show had some kind of story leading up to it. Those were good times. Even though I myself was more of a WCW fan I still watched WWF from time to time. I'd usually watch the last hour of RAW or flip back from Nitro to RAW. Although its not a WWF storyline my favorite by far is the formation of the nWo.

Problem is things became redudant at that level, and nothing surprised you anymore. So the wwe has went back to slowing things down, creating a more family friendly product and focusing on a new younger generation of fans. As that group of fans gets older they will once again show more attituded, rebellious personalities to coincide with that generation of fans.

As I've said before we look back at that era through "rose colored glasses". Elements were great, other elements were downright goofy.

It was a time and a place that cannot be recreated. Society itself is different.

If they kept the same product it would have burned out. In many aspects it did.

The current product would be fine if they kept to wrestling basics.

Agree with Keelan here - Attitude era had great main event matches & feuds but other than that it was pretty crap really.

All the Austin, Taker, Rock, DX stuff was cool but after that it was Goldust, Godfather, Headbangers, midgets, etc.
