On an interesting note, WWE.com has actually acknowledged Chris Benoit's Royal Rumble victory from 2004!

Is this a mistake or is WWE finally remembering the good Benoit did INSIDE the ring?

Depends, sometimes they have hidden pages that they forget to update. Even this site has tonnes of random old pages floating around.

If its part of a new article, it could be a goof. Even if they did do it intentionally, I still don't think they'll start putting him in DVDs and stuff. They took a company line and will probably stick to it. Hell they don't want to be associated with the Wrestler movie, why bring Benoit back up?

He was the boringest wrestler to ever be signed.

I used to think that too until I grew up and realised he was a classic example of an actual wrestler. Not many of those around today.

Would you still have the same opinion of Benoit if he was alive today and didn't commit those horrible murders?

Personally i thought Benoit was a great wrestler and saw the tribute show the WWE did for him on the night where it was meant to be Vince's demise. The WWE should acknowledge Benoit inside the ring and his loyality to the business. I still think he was a great wrestler even if he committed those murders in roid rage or not.
